Yeah, he's "trying" but that's about all you can say for his effort. He fails in trying to make the quintessential case of apples and oranges comparing the tragic death of a child with a toy gun by a cop, a cop who was only told a person with a gun is in the park, to the brutal beating of a female doing nothing more than to defend her shop from looters.
How the hell does an otherwise intelligent person even begin to make that comparison, to defend their position that all cops must be found guilty of the actions of a few with the senseless brutal beating of somebody who has done nothing to a looter?
What am I missing here? How hard is it to admit that burning, looting and killing are not the proper response to bad acts by police or are they actually "trying" to make the case that it is?
