Good posts Sportfisherman. One point of difference, you can't lay all the blame at Trump's feet. It's like the economy, the President gets all the praise when things go right and all the blame when they don't. But a lot of other factors are in play.

That said, Trump's temperament and background make him unable to handle this crisis well. You hit the nail on the head here, in your list of things that should have been done differently:

I only bring it up because he harped about it and played holier than thou in previous threads regarding it. Now he tries to portray some great business model and intellect, when anyone with a modicum of business experience in any sort of reasonable operation knows that he can't possibly be vetting people to the level he claims.
