VERY much over the top! With today's weather, pretty much ZERO possibility any virus will survive your walk to the door! Unless, you are ALREADY infected in which case the steps are useless! In this case, sunny and windy is your friend!

Put another way, fuck'n stupid! Paranoia is a treatable disorder.
