You so called "globalists" need to get a grip on reality.

This is NOT a "Community":

the issue about those spyware chips came out the last 2 years.

i believe it was a well known Taiwanese computer company run by a Taiwanese you mentioned.
They've been doing it for over a decade. Here's a story from 2014. I don't have time to research if for you.

You said 20 years ago. mainland china really did not have that type of infrastructure setup until some time after 2001.

people started noticing this in computer publications 6 years ago which is 2014.

I think you guys are going to have to split the difference.

Gnad said 15-20 years and you initially said two.

Being in tech, I'm more with Gnad in remembering things sneaking out being discussed as early as the early/mid-2000's(say around 15 years ago)

This article from 2014 mentions efforts of various types of hacking going all the way back to 2007 with China equipment and vulnerabilies.

Thanks eccielover. It was about the time we started doing export compliance at our company but my guess its been going on for decades in some form or another.

Remember Stuxnet? That was about 2010.

I remember a story where the US govt installed some virus on valve equipment headed for a Russian pipeline that cause it to explode. That was pre-2000.

Here's a great story about the USS Halibut and tapping an underwater Soviet phone line. The guy was told the Soviets was "recently" released.

Long story short, we have demanded for national security interests, that some products be made in the US. We can expand that list.

just to clear things up...

2 years ago is when I became aware of the problem.

i knew there were movements by corporations to move chip manufacturing to china at least around 2005. 2001 or 2002 they were talking about having chip manufacturing in china.
