Sure Z but this kind of thing happens all the time. One of the best ways to revive an economy is by engaging a military opponent in a war. The New Deal programs were government attempts to stimulate the economy as well. A lot of people label shit like this socialism.

You're always going to get the government intervening during an emergency, it's one of the few things that a center-right leaning population will happily accept.
