Can LEO use naked pics on STG for sting?

Ok I've been researching a bit and I can't find a straight answer yet so maybe one of you gentlemen or ladies can help.
Can LEO post fake or stolen naked pictures on a site such as STG to lure you in?
I see all these naked pics and such and just wander how hard it is to tell the difference sometimes and then you read where LE is going as far as getting nude with girls in order to make the bust. Our local pd recently had a sting and from what I gather it was a ad on STG that was used but no one knows the actual ad or pics used that I can find anyway. I know female officers won't undress which is why I ask for the lady to answer the door naked sometimes and if she doesn't I walk away. I never mention sex or acts of any kind and I rarely mention seeing an ad.
So maybe there's someone who has found the right Google search that has answered my question and can help me out. I'm pretty sure that LE can and does use stolen and/or naked pics for bait but I can't find anything definite that says yes or no. Call me silly but I just want a straight answer haha.

To answer simply, they can. Just like they can lie, deal/sell real drugs, show false information for evidence(like if you hired a hitman and create a fake pic to prove the person was wacked) or just whatever they need to do that's in the boundaries of the department policies. Will they is a different story. I'm sure if anything they may not use copyrighted photos, but then again what is going to stop them, I doubt the owner will find out little Beaumont TX used their photos for a short amount of time for a sting. My answer isn't from Google, as much is it may scare people off, I know plenty of LEO. Alot of my family and extend family are LEO.
