Probably last time at Lucky Feet
Not worth writing up a whole encounter for. Lucky Feet has been an infrequent spot for me. Usually I might go there if I didn't want all the chummy drama of other favorite spots but wanted a no-frills smile at the end and the price was always right.
Stopped in this week and price has crept up to $65 for the 90-minute. Grrrr, this screws up my usual plan of cash-only house fee + acceptable tip for happy or non-happy completion.
Ok fine. Also unfortunately, it was Mamasan's turn at bat. I've never seen her smile here ever. Ok, fine. I'm on a time crunch so lets just do this.
Her massage is fine. Nothing spectacular but nothing missing either. We get to a flip and she holds up 5 fingers. Gah! <grumble-grumble> ok. So we get through that and I still have 30 minutes on the clock which she runs the timer down with bored foot massage and some even more bored scalp work.
I have to put a little bit of this on the CC so she has her tip in cash which makes for some awkward math conversation at the front desk. But I get out alive and this was likely my last time stopping in here. I haven't seen anyone that isn't grandma status here in a long time. I know prices have to go up but if they want their fair tips, I'm going to go back to 60 minute sessions.
I should stick to U-Spa even if its DIY at the end.
