McConnell's speculation doesn't really mean anything. It's the Democrats that have been pushing for Impeachment from the very beginning. The Democrats have to prove their case now that Trump abused his power and pressured the Ukrainian Government to dig up dirt on Joe Biden. If that can't be accomplished the Democrats will be back in square one.
