Seems that a temporary solution would just be to ask providers to have conversations/threads going in the Coed sections of wherever they are located so people can know they are around and have contact info.

Yes, it is getting very hard to hobby and provide! It's unfortunate because all of the restrictions make this more unsafe for everyone. These are sad times for sure!

Ok. This is still my dumb, naive question that I haven't heard a good answer to yet. If the servers are overseas (The Netherlands?) and it's a new Texas law...which can ONLY have impact in Texas...why are the ads for all of the other states taken down? Texas law can not now or ever be effective in New Mexico. So why are ours down? I'm not a lawyer, but I don't understand the rationale. What am I missing?

I think the site owners live in TX and are worried about being subject to their state's laws.

Agreed!!! And other sites taking advantage by no longer offering free ads. Hard to tell if you should pay or not considering current hobbying climate. Could just be a total waste of $$$. Dilemmas... 🙄👎
