No. I read the article. They were listed as "missing" since they were inside the dive boat presumably sleeping in the bunk quarters down there ... from the pics the boat was FULLY ENGULFED with the fire INSIDE the lower deck and apparently only the crew sleeping topside managed to get rescued. It doesn't justify any of the deaths. It just shows that the knee jerk AR-Style(or false comparison to "assault weapons") should not be the discussion at hand. It's a vote grab partisan bullshit play only.

AR-Style weapons are responsible for a hugely minority representation of gun deaths and even small piece of overall deaths. Why not focus on Chicago inner city deaths which are more than AR-Style deaths? What's the underlying reason for all of them?

If not for political hay, why the focus Ar-Style? Is it because you just find them "scary"?

Get this straight....the common denominator of the majority of the mass murders in this country are the weapons manufactured with an AR frame which was originally designed for combat.

Your position is to go after a "style" of weapon that by far is in the vast vast minority of gun deaths in this nation simply because of it's "style".

And do your best to come at them "lawfully". If laws are enacted(which I'm highly doubting) I will follow them. That won't stop the other 99% of unlawful weapon use in this country. But hey, it's a political scoring point for you - right?

Style of weapon? The style hasn’t anything to do with the original AR frame built for combat. There are all types of styles of weapon built around the original AR frame. In all styles of concealable lengths, with high capacity mags for weapons that basically have interchangeable parts.

You want to clarify your style of weapon.....or maybe your weapon of choice.
