Yes lingerie gifted that we both can enjoy is always a winner. I imagine your provider ladies treat you really well in return. We appreciate the effort.xoxo

I love giving gifts. It gives me as much pleasure as the one receiving the gift. Although I don't expect anything in return, it is nice to see and know that it is appreciated
By the same token, I don't just give a gift to anyone. You have to have become a good friend as well as a person I do business with.

Awkward? For you maybe. The sentiment involved with a gift is seldom returned from someone that is a professional expecting nothing more from you than repeat business.
If you have developed some sort of relationship outside of the business, spend time with her off the clock doing anything then maybe a birthday or holiday gift.
It's a waste of money and energy if she's just someone you pay for her time.

Many thanks to those of you answering honestly. My playdates have earned the right to a special gift.

The best gifts tend to be a little out of the ordinary, and clearly picked out with the recipient in mind. Jewelry works well for that. It'salso discrete, and something she is likely to remember you for each time she wears it.

Not so simplistic. I've never given a gift to my electric company, but I generally do give gifts to service providers like my dental hygienist, barber, physical therapist, secretary, mechanic, the front desk person at the hotels I regularly frequent, and others.
Obviously no one is obliged to give gifts, it is far from abnormal. I am curious why you seem to think it is abnormal.
My experience is that small gifts to service providers most definately improves service, and makes life more pleasant for both parties.

Little gifts are appreciated by all but the most jaded philistines. Thank you for going out of your way to make us feel special.

I’ve given all my favorites at least one pair Kendra Scotts for a tip... Miss V looked so good in hers, she got a second pair...
