I can see every rtm that anyone sends, and trust me, everyone isn't sending them, it's just a lot of the same members sending them...Not saying that's wrong though

What members sometimes don't understand is that most of the rtm's we get aren't worthy of an infraction or even a warning. Those that are, are dealt with.

The trolls handles are being dealt with as well, mostly by Admins, so Mods are not overwhelmed.

Where have the Admins been? Well, you don't and won't see us post a lot in public forums because we deal with other site issues that do not require us posting in public forums. I rarely post in a public forum anymore but that's also by choice...

To be quite honest and IMHO, it should be on the members to police each other and Mods should step in when things get out of hand. Less Moderation is a good thing and over the years I've found that it's better when members call each other out and "police themselves" until, again, it gets out of hand.


As for this thread...it basically comes down to some members siding with Abe, some not, and others don't give a fuck either way. It hasn't gotten out of hand so it won't be closed.

Me personally, I wouldn't have started a thread like this because it only brought attention to a matter that probably wasn't worthy of any attention at all.

Also, I do like to see pics in reviews, I don't need to see all the explicit shit, but it doesn't bother me either. However, with all the new laws out now, I just don't see why anyone would even post shit like that but hey...Do you

the Mods are not equipped to ban these Troll handles like they need. the Trolls have spiraled out of control since early June, the last time I knew you, Mojojo, or elchapo existed. frankly, I thought elchapo had disappeared, and was just a name plate at this time. this handle "Groot" has hijacked the AMP section continuously for weeks. he snickers with each post, KNOWING nothing will be done. in a perfect world, sure.. but we both know once St. C removed himself, pandemonium broke loose. multiple handles reign, attackers rule. it has been out of hand for 2-3 months. I'm on the front line, and see it daily. the self-policing metric is theory that belies the reality of current ECCIE

Chung, the mods and admins are there, just let Shep3.0 tell them he needs something done and they are on it like stink on shit. The guidelines are situational, when DED said that many RTMs sent are not worthy, what he meant was it depends on who is sending the RTM, who did the post, and who they are violating the guideline against, then so is the mod action/inaction.

I've seen some of your RTM's, a few have been worthy of giving a member a warning or points, most have not. It's usually you playing the "I'm the Eccie Victim" card as usual
