I believe everything appearing in the New York Times appears there only for the sake of being tendentious. If the central thesis; i.e., the rate of gun ownership explains prevalence of mass shootings, had validity then the U.S state with the highest rate of gun ownership, Wyoming, should have them weekly. I don't believe Wyoming has had any. The least armed state is Delaware, which has had a couple of slaughters relatively recently. If the NYT had even a modicum of honesty or professionalism it should have mentioned these things in some earnest effort toward understanding the damn problem. Mass murder is a culture thing, not an equipment thing.

I think it is fishy all these shootings happen when Jeffery Epstein gets arrested and investigated
