I struggled with that question when I was debating the purchase. Decided I could justify it if I amortized the cost so I've kept some basic stats. My cost is down to <$24 per unique rider and falling. I haven't tracked total rides. Best guess is that if I used total rides instead of unique riders the cost would <$10 per ride. IMO it's added way more than $24 of fun and uniqueness to the experience each time it's been used.

Some random observations:

In some ways it's kind of like a threesome in that it's a total change of pace from a normal one-on-one session and it's much more an occasional treat than something you use regularly. Staying with the threesome comparison, I love threesomes, but my experience has been maybe 30% of the threesomes I've participated in lived up to my expectations. The expectations met or exceeded rate with the sybian is more like 95%.
