Southern voters confidence in the American dream my hurt DEMS in 2020
The LSM is worried that the MAGA slogan is working against the DEMS in 2020.
I guess they are perplexed as to the confidence people have in this great country and their ability to succeed on their own without BIG Gumment!!
What does this tell you about self-reliance and the left's desire for you to believe you can't do it without their help.
This video is so telling in regards to the LSM's lack of self-awareness in regard to what makes this country great...THE PEOPLE IN IT...NOT THE GUMMENT!!

The video and the attached story basically discussed would the ideology of self-reliance hurt the dems in 2020.
Why would self-reliance hurt the dems, speed??
Is self-reliance a bad thing or should people rely on the Gumment for their needs and wants.
Do you believe self-reliance is only limited to the people in the south, because without a shit load of people relying on the Gumment, the democrap party would cease to exist.
Who is your favorite far left candidate to unseat Trump.
It will be tough for you to decide with a complete field of assclowns pandering (AKA giveaways) to everything and everyone. Again reliance on more and bigger Gumment.
The inconvenient truth...

In a pervious thread I ask you what lured you away for the Republicans to the democraps...it couldn't have been just that ONE EVIL MAN!! Must have been a complete ideological flip-out...
Your top two issues aren't a winning theme and the third looks even less likely for your new party.
1) Gumment doesn't belong in healthcare...PERIOD!! Obummercare is and was a disaster.
2) Immigration isn't a winning issue when the left talks "decriminalizing" illegal immigration.
https://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=2622414
An Obama-era Department of Homeland Security chief is warning Democratic presidential candidates to cool their push to decriminalize illegal border crossings, saying such a move would be tantamount to “open borders” policy and lead to hundreds of thousands more people flooding into the U.S. every month.
“That is tantamount to declaring publicly that we have open borders,” Jeh Johnson told The Washington Post.
“That is unworkable, unwise and does not have the support of a majority of American people or the Congress, and if we had such a policy, instead of 100,000 apprehensions a month, it will be multiples of that,” he said.
3) The economy has to do what you stay up nights praying for in order for that to work in your parties favor.
P.S. You said NOBODY is in favor of open borders...tell that to you man Bitten!!

Possibly. Bambino stated, and I agree, that the Republicans outworked the Democrats in states like Michigan and Pennsylvania, spent more money there, and had success. He expects the same in 2020.
On the flip side, a candidate like Joe Biden is much more popular in those states and does not carry the baggage that Hillary Clinton did. Trump's approval rating in MI. PA and Wisconsin has dropped considerably since his election and polls show Biden leading in those states at the current time, obviously subject to change.

Oh My God!!! Did you even TRY to comprehend what Biden was saying in the video??? His statement about "Respect no borders" had absolutely NOTHING to do with immigration. He is talking about our country working with countries around the globe in order to make this a better world, and a better U.S.
By the way, you are TOTALLY off topic, a topic that YOU started.

All Trump really has to do to win those states is trot out AOC and her rhetoric - and it's game over.

Your TDS is very troubling.
In regards to the other links in the post I don't expect you to answer that to which you have no answer for...hollow rhetoric on your part.
I shoot down everything you say point by point and no response..
P.S. I hope Uncle Joe "gaffe" Bitten get the nomination...he will get this ass handed to him in the election.

AOC is not running for anything in those states and it is doubtful that much of her rhetoric will be part of the Democratic platform.

Try listening to his statements once or twice again. Eventually you'll understand what he is saying rather than what you want him to be saying. Maybe.
Biden says he will not be contained by any walls. That statement has NOTHING to do with immigration and everything to do with working with other countries.
The only walls that need to be discussed around here are the walls that keep you from having an open mind when discussing issues with others with whom you disagree.

Just like your open mindedness in leaving a party because of ONE EVIL MAN!!
Discussing issues...I ask you questions straight up and you dodge them...great debate.
I dissect your points one by one and no response from you to counter them.
What about Bitten's support of free healthcare for illegals just the the one passed by Commiefornia??
That policy will go over well with the voters!!

Since the campaign has just started and the Democratic nominee will be unknown for another year, the platform is yet to be finalized. However, here is the official 2019 platform:
Raising wages, closing the wealth gap, strengthening Social Security
Lowering health care costs; ensuring all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care; stabilizing Medicare and Medicaid
Sensible immigration reform that keeps America’s promise
Defending our borders, our ideals, and our institutions
Supporting our veterans and military families
Fixing our criminal justice system to eliminate systemic racism
Guaranteeing rights for minorities, people with disabilities, the LGBTQ community, and all Americans
Acting to advance women’s rights, protect access to reproductive care, fight for equal pay, stop violence against women, and elect more women to public office
Protecting and promoting every American’s fundamental right to vote
Advancing clean energy and climate change action
Common-sense gun reforms
Smarter infrastructure investments
Advancing access to liberty and equality for all
Investing in modern education and jobs programs that prepare our kids for tomorrow’s challenges

I have at various times in various threads discussed why I will not vote for Trump -- part due to his lack of character and part due to issues. Whenever I discuss those issues your tendency is to rant and rave and turn the discussion to the Democratic contenders, all of whom you stereotype as far left socialists and Communists, who all believe the same on all issues.
Regarding Biden's comments on free healthcare for immigrants:
“I think undocumented people need to have a means by which they can be covered when they’re sick,” he said in a CNN interview, adding, “This is just common decency.”
“In an emergency they should have health care. Everybody should,” he added. "How do you say 'You're undocumented, I'm gonna let you die, man?'"
This will be a major issue in the 2020 election. All the candidates have time to clarify their stances on such issues. What happens in California is irrelevant to the rest of the country. California will not go Trump's way.
