Another confirmation of the 2 drink minimum enforcement but the managers are getting out of hand plus harassment/pressure from the waitresses. This is not a good business model.

It is always better to respect your customers. I do not like that club or the girls anyway.

I don't mind buying drinks in a club but I don't need anyone hovering over me and breathing down my neck for a drink. Also one person has already reported that management is calling them liars after they purchased drinks. That shouldn't be rightfully so.

Lots of clubs have 2 drink min. Including the Lodge. There are different ways of handling things....A saavy customer would order a drink then ask the waitress to do a shot with him. Boom. Whether she accept or not. You are considered "cool"
It's obvious you were letting off a cheap vibe. Ijs

If you have a good club and format, you don't need to do petty shit like that. The people coming in will spend enough where you won't need to bother. This is poor business strategy, but not surprising considering the things they have done with that club over the years.

I respect your opinion sleepy.....but you should see this place. The clientele look like the homeless from under the bridge. No offense. If you go look and see for yourself. You will understand.

That's due to their business decisions on what they've turned that club into. They used to have a nice club that was full of good customers and they ruined it. This is what they now have, and it's 100% their own fault.

Cheap Vibe?? No, they were going about the business wrong. If customers feel uncomfortable they will leave and drink somewhere else. It happens every where at bars, restaurants, etc. That's why places eventually go out of business.
Customer service is everything and they can achieve more by changing up some things. They are doing it all wrong. Asking you to buy drinks and not keeping track regardless if you bought drinks earlier as a poster stated. Management shouldn't call a customer a liar if he doesn't even know if you bought drinks or not then says you have to leave. Sounds like he's hustling customers to buy even more drinks.
The Lodge?.....lol. Those 2 clubs don't even compare to each other so what's your point? Bottom line is the club needs a lot of work. It's been going down hill after the heyday of Cabaret Royale days when The Fare Room was right next door.
Nobody is saying this is one of the best clubs but the point is that they can benefit from better business practices and maybe even do some remodeling. That location and connecting vacant club has a lot of potential. An upscale mega club can be born. Most people go to Chicas Locas for the extras, not because it's a top destination.

for clarification, it is Fort Worth that is Cowtown, CL is in Dallas. never mind that this club is trying to brand itself as a Cow Club
I think the 2 drink minimum is a reaction to what the Club became, when it failed to operate as it had in past years. the Riff Raff drifted in and failed to spend, which caused the new drink policy. as was previously said, give us a Club that is attractive, and there will be plenty of guys buying drinks.

In early 2000 The Fare next to fantasy ranch in Arlington did the same, I didn’t want a drink back to back, manager came and said I have to buy another. I left and was the last time I visited that shit hole.

Point I was making about 2 drink minimum. Many clubs do it whether they enforce it or not. I gave you the reason why they are enforcing the drink minimum but you aren't processing it. Maybe wear a nicer looking shirt? Lol

Some places like CL are really shit holes and an understanding of good service isn't really part of their model. That being said I've always found that you attract the vibe you give off, especially in clubs....

A 2 drink minimum is one of the business concepts that works in theory but not in practice. You're better off raising the cover charge so you get more from each customer walking in then trying to pester customers into buy drinks.
If you kick the "cheap looking" guys out of your club then the club would just be emptier, and fewer girls would show up, and you're guaranteed to get less revenue.. It's not like the "cheap looking" guys are keeping the "paying customers" out. A "cheap looking" guy still might see a gal he likes and buys her a drink but if he gets kicked out of the club there's no chance of that happening.
