Dude, next year? That’s for federal office (President, Congress). I hate Trump more than anyone, but I don’t think he had anything to do with this. This year is local elections (but not Peduto), so, in short, your post was wildly off base.

Not really. Every politician/judge/DA/Sheriff is gonna show they're "cleaning up crime" when its voting time. November 5th - Municipal Elections. Gotta show constituents where their taxes go, and make a buck at it.



I doubt Trump would bother. The man paid a woman- who's job it is to perform sexual acts for money- for sex. If I had $30K I'd spend it on something better looking.

Seems to me, that the invitation to party vs play, was what got this group snagged. Reading the article suggests that may be of more interest to uncle Leo than Ho rental agreements. Agree that the only focus directly related to POTUS interest in cracking down was the passage of FOSTA, but im really surprised that Backpage didnt just relo off to a non-restricted country to base the website. Maybe its already been done with other sites that are less direct on the connection between parties. I know that sites that are "membership" oriented seem to have some flexibility that free sites don't.
