But if they read and ponder its words—after the hot dogs, but before the fireworks—later generations may see in it something at which to marvel, something that still terrifies tyrants, and something worth defending to the last.

Earlier in the week, The New York Times ran a video arguing America isn't the greatest nation on Earth, "the U.S. is really just O.K."
Without mentioning The Times or the video, Trump proceeded to tell us about America’s greatness for nearly an hour interrupted only by applause, flyovers and military songs. At one point, I thought “who is this guy and what have they done with President Trump?”
There's no "potato famine" or "Vietnamese boat flotilla" exoduses of certain death anymore.
Strange how these "globalists" want everyone from every part of the global to come and reside here to collect a check and vote for the Democratic Socialist party. If they were truly "globalists" I would expect them to improve their part of the globe. That way everyone but the corrupt regimes benefit.
