But for the situation you mention I think should be clarified. Did you slap him on the ass or did you haul off and slap him in the face as if he had done something wrong. That kind of mixed signal would make me question if this relationship needed to end. That sort of thing can escalate and not in to good end.

This X2. I've tried but it is like trying not to close your eyes when you sneeze, I just can't physically do it.
