Obama warns democrats of ciruclar firing squad
Obama warns Democrats that ideological 'rigidity' can lead to a 'circular firing squad'
https://news.yahoo.com/obama-warns-d...124133498.html
Former President Barack Obama warned Democrats about the dangers of rigid ideological dogmatism, which he said can lead to a "circular firing squad" at an Obama Foundation event in Berlin on Saturday.
' And then we start sometimes creating what's called a circular firing squad where you start shooting at your allies because one of them is straying from purity on the issues. And when that happens, typically the overall effort and movement weakens," Obama said.
Obama had it right — a circular firing squad is on the way
https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign...-is-on-the-way
President Barack Obama was right to warn the Democratic Party that, unless it reshapes its course, it may create a circular firing squad. Historically, just look to the Democratic Party of 1972, when George McGovern lost 49 states to Richard Nixon, another controversial, polarizing president. It was both the high point of the progressive movement in the party and the low point of the party’s presidential power.

yah but he's rooting for his team, not the republicans.
nice to see them fracturing for a change. I'm so tired of their legendary unity that can't be broken!

while Obama is right, it doesn't matter. Obama simply has no real influence anymore with the DNC and the general public. No one is lining up to see him and he's getting heckled. in the end he betrayed his handlers of the ALT-LEFT and sided with the Establishment most of his terms.
So Obama to the ALT/LEFT/ANTIFA/SOCIALISTS is Brutus/Benedick Arnold/Judas.
So they don't want him around anymore anyway. As for the DNC don't they know that old saying ...
The Revolution eats its own.

Shame when Obama looks reasonable compared to today's Democrats.

I'd call it a welcome, predictable and overdue WIN for our side.
and this is only two years ago. the Dems today are a party imploding. the ALT-LEFTISTs will split the party. and by doing so here is the forecast for 2020

I hate to say it but this is too early. The democrats have a chance of rising from the ashes with one or two strong candidates for the left. I can pretend to be more centrist than the other and let the public decide which way to go. The democrats long ago gave up of letting things go to chance.

bahahahaaa
name them. right now there is no centrist democrat that is running, other than hickenpooper and buttisgood.
BAHHAAA
Biden won't do. Stevie Bannon thinks that Clinton will enter the race if no strong candidate emerges. Thing is Clinton will never accept a VP role. so what about her and creepy joe? a no go.
Bannon also thincks Harris/O'Rourke is the dem's best ticket. he's right but it's still a leftist LOSING ticket.
the cupboard is bareback, demtards.

See McGovern or Dukakis.
The DNC demonstrates daily they sides with HillariousNoreMore when it concludes that all who voted for Trump are dumbasses with short-term memories.
Where's the "new rope"?

I'm afraid that fucker Buttigieg could win in spite of his poor biological choices. Our country is pretty fucked up these days.
The hope would be the more macho Hispanic voters would be repulsed by the private life of the Mayor of South Bend Peter Buttigieg and that would send them to their true home for conservatives which is of course the Republican party.

I'm not saying that there is a centrist. They will fit some radical with a centrist suit.
Note the latest Politico article saying that Elizabeth Warren used to be a republican and they imply that she may possibly harbor conservative tendencies.

Very likely, she was a progressive republican or moderate before she switched over. kind of odd considering her family voted democrat.
she was apolitical for much of her life until she became a professor. thats about when she switched over.
interesting that she doesn't want to talk about her former life as a republican.
