So, the House is going to pass a resolution compelling AG Barr to release the Mueller Report in it's full unredacted form.

The Law says he cannot do this.

If the Democrats pass this resolution, would not they be guilty of aiding and abetting a criminal act!?

No. Laws are written and enacted by the legislature. There is no reason they cannot pass a law carving out exceptions to the rules, e.g. for the Mueller report. Ultimately it will be decided by the courts.

It IS a crime to leak grand jury or national security info to the media without special authorization... but it happens all the time, and hardly anyone gets prosecuted for it.

I think it's criminal as well. The Democrats are desperate. They know or at least should know that an investigation is soon going to be kicked off involving members of the Obama administration in their attempt with Russia to overthrow the Trump Campaign. Of course the fake Dossier and FISA Warrant will be a main focus on such an investigation. The Democrats have really morphed into a criminal cartel within our Government and they need to be eradicated.

DPST's had to change tactics with release of Mueller report summary by AG Barrr. With no "Collusion" or "Obstruction" - DPST's are grasping at straws to find any shred of "evidence" - as Schiff has been McCarthying in his hand- to impeach and inidict trump.

They must now depend on false claims of "obstruction" by AG Barr and that 'evidence" of trump crimes is not released by DOJ. They will then claim the Mueller Investigation did not "get to the bottom" of the Facts as DPST's want the "Facts" to be. DPST's are already claiming "Coverup". They will never be satisfied with a finding of no crime.

Let the DPST's continue to focus on "Hate Trump" all they wish - Americans will become tired of the continuing MSM propaganda 24/7 - center America will vote against the DPST Leftist extremists in 2020. Even Some DPST's are beginning to urge Caution - but the Hate is Too Great!!!


Saw an editorial today where a person demanded a Socialist revolution in order to have a "Free and Orderly" America. Socialism will be neither - see Maduro in Venezuela.


As to compelling full release of Mueller Report by AG Barr - I have reservations about the house judiciary committee trying to compel Barr to release the "Full report" in violation of Congress passed statutes. Schiff could try to pass a revised Law - but will have no hope of getting it through the Senate or past Trump. The matter must go to the Courts for a legal decision. The house Committee has no enforcement authority - that is the hands of the DOJ.

I disagree. A Law is something that is passed by both Houses of Congress and signed by the President. It is NOT a opinion passed by one Part of the Legislative Branch.

We have a Law on the books. It was passed by both Houses and signed into Law. The Democrats are attempting to compell the AG to break that Law.

If it is a matter of saying "fuck it, nobody cares about Laws", then they should just come out and say it.

Then empty the jails.

We're not disagreeing. If you are talking about a mere Resolution passed by a House Committee or even the entire Congress - that doesn't have the force of law. It's merely an expression of Congressional sentiment. Congress can urge AG Barr to release the full, unredacted report but that doesn't compel him to do so. They would need to pass a law requiring him to release everything and specifically making exempt from prosecution any resulting violations of the normal rules governing grand jury/national security secrecy. And yes, that law would have to be signed by the POTUS.
