Why the differences between the subAMP and AMP business models?

I've been curious about this for a while and thought I would finally ask if anyone has any knowledge or thoughts on the differences between the subAMP (usually seem to be Chinese; located away from the area where most AMPs are found [suburbs and Fort Worth]; generally much more limited menu) and AMP (usually Korean plus the occasional Thai or Latina; generally seem to be in a relatively small area in northwest Dallas; almost anything goes, depending on the girl) business models.

Is it ownership? Is it that Chinese girls don't do the things that Korean girls do? Is there a legal or jurisdictional aspect? Is there money changing hands in one area that doesn't in others? is it ....?

No agenda, just curious.

Most obvious point to me is that is a Subamp, the girls hardly ever live in the studio. The opposite is true at the Korean AMPS. Perhaps this points to the provenance of the K girls. The are brought in already with an understanding of obligations for weekly room and board. The Chinese model, housed off site and maybe older, more independent workers. Just one point of comparison to start with.
