Hey Ellen. Wrong again!
Hillary Clinton has ruled herself out of the 2020 presidential race. Of course she could change her mind but as I said when you said she would be the Democratic candidate in 2020:
NO WAY!

Too early. Right now Biden is ahead in most Democratic polls and a poll taken quite a while ago, which is meaningless today, showed Biden easily beating Trump in 2020 should he be the Democratic candidate. I think he is too old but he is a moderate Democrat and that I like.
I'll repeat what I've said before -- incumbent presidents are tough to beat. But no POTUS has had such a low approval rating at this point in the presidency, other than Reagan, and won. And Reagan at this time was fighting a recession. The problem with Trump continues to be that many voters, like myself, will vote against him strictly based on his character. Trump may improve the economy, build part of his wall, do something on health care, but his character will never change. Many voters in 2016 voted AGAINST Hillary Clinton rather than FOR Donald Trump due to her baggage, which I can't argue against. It is highly unlikely Trump will have such an advantage in 2020.

CNN was hardly the source of the statement. FOX News and the NY Times among others reported the same news.

I know. But some of us love his personality. I have a feeling - I know, laugh if you want - but I think ordinary Americans will vote for Trump over the socialist agenda of the Democratic party. We shall see!

Can you even articulate what it is about the so called "socialist agenda" that you are against? Specifics would be nice.
Keep in mind, that every idea thrown out by various Democrats is not necessarily going to be bought into by the whole party. For example, the Green New Deal, is not likely to be embraced in full. But ensuring that all American's have affordable healthcare (socialism) is supported, and is overwhelmingly favored by most Americans.
Did you know that "ordinary people" benefit from various forms of "socialism" more so than they do from man-child Trump's raping the country to give tax breaks to the rich? Oh, you did not know this? OK. But this is why I think you are grossly mistaken about what most people in the country truly want.

"and with this being an article written by some flunkie at CNN"...
Now that's funny. I don't care who you are. I haven't seen one of their news readers that knew what the heck they were discussing. Only what they were reading.
Most folks in this country, since the majority is still us Boomers, want a conservative government that stands behind the reasons for which it was created. ijs…...

Wrong. Independents and liberals combined are a majority (see: http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank...r-generations/). And the demographic trends do not favor conservatism. As boomers have peaked and have a higher mortality rate than other cohorts (see: http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank...-s-electorate/).
They are losing the battle for hearts and minds of younger generations and the older - more conservative - gens are dying off. This is the fundamental issue confronting the Reps for the long run, IMO. And that's a shame as we need both parties to be viable as to provide checks and balances on one another.

I asked before and I'll ask again. Obama was POTUS for 8 years. What socialistic policies did he put in place during those 8 years? And Obamacare is not considered to be socialistic. So what else you got?
Remember that social security is socialism and where would us old folks be without it.
