I have heard King is a YMMV place but this review is a good warning to folks that L0 may be the default. Violet massage at the same intersection is, almost, 100% L0. L1 has happened though just don’t expect it. Also Violet does the pretzel type massage. I find it painful rather than enjoyable.

I can confirm this review. Went recently and had a similar experience. The massage was actually really good though. I have some hip flexor issues and she did a great job of loosening it up.

I think what makes this place confusing is that I believe there is another Kng Massage on the other side of 75 off Bethany.

There is a King Massage on the NE corner of Greenville and Bethany. It’s owned by the same lady who owns Sedona on Main and Allen Heights.

I heard the King Spa at 75/McDermott is up from sale from the owner of another Allen spot.

I was surprised to learn that many spas are for sale, some that are relatively new. Massage 8 went up for sale mere months after opening. Foot Palace was up for sale in a matter of weeks.

It seems there is money to be made by establishing a spa and turning it. I've seen them listed anywhere from $50K to over $120K. I considered buying one. But, I couldn't get the owner to include the golden "power salute" kitty in the sale.

The frequent sales are part of the cultural system, everyone needs to do their laundry and wash their George Washington's. Sometimes they even "trade" spas.



Those listing numbers are high, the ones I knew of closed between 10K - 20K. The listings for anyone who understands business are often comical. One spa in Carrollton listed a monthly net of 60K but was asking for 35K. In most cases there are no ledgers / records available to accurately verify financials.



After a sale there is no legal recourse unless you can find a Beijing court that would hear the complaint

I can't see how anyone would pay more than the cost of the sign and finish out of the interior.

There is no goodwill to speak of...

They build their tables out of 2x4s and plywood. The rooms are bare with a cheap chair, side table and cheesy Chinese bank calendar. Four room build out with white box walls is around 10K, most have an unlicensed "industry" connection to do that without permits for less. The generic sign we are seeing a lot of,,, installed with permits,,,2K max,,, ordered from China.



Goodwill? LOL A couple of places in the area got nailed for not having permits for previous construction after a sale... talk about a mess. The new owner was closed down until they were compliant. The seller disappeared, most likely back to China with the $$... making America GREAT again!
