Used to work at a place that rented betas and vhs machines in the 80s. I was shocked at how many people used to forget and return them with porn vids in them. They would never come back to claim them, so the collection grew rather large. When I was a freshman in college in the early 80's, I was having a conversation with a couple of guys and one local mentioned he had run across his father's stash of 8mm porn films in the garage.

None of us had seen a real porn before. One guy mentioned an 8mm projector could easily be checked-out from the college library with a college ID. We quickly hatched a plan to covertly borrow the films, check-out the projector and show the film in our dorm room. I came up with the idea to charge others in our dorm $5 a head to watch the film. "I am curious yellow", a Swedish "art film" at a theatre in east Dallas. It was the summer of 1962 and I was a college kid working for the summer. I drove all the way across Dallas/Fort Worth to get to the theatre because I was terrified at the thought of seeing somebody I knew. What a disappointment! The biggest moment in the movie was a blurred nude girl running through the woods.
