Why would you say the Caravan seekers are eligible when they clearly do not meet the qualifications per the link you sent? They did not have any temporary protection status nor temporary visas. Please elaborate on your "sufficient personal experience" with asylum seekers. If you live in Texas, everyone has "sufficient personal experience" with asylum seekers. Insurance companies were cherry picking patients to maximize revenue - and folks were denied
However- the massive and cumbersome regulations, marketplace, and bureaucracy rendered the system expensive and unworkable. Why dictate only certain periods when people could buy insurance - or be left out. That was and is socialist type mis-managment.
Republicans had a chance to repeal and replace with a simpler, free market system with coverages for those such as with pre-existing conditions - and failed to do so.

A Texas judge decision - will be met with Federal appeals.
