The problem is/was Sessions gave up a Senate seat to a Democrat who that enabled the Kavanaugh debacle.

IMO Session didn't want to spar with his buddies in Congress, so he took the easy way out with the "recusal"! Had be known he had a conflict or even suspected he had one he should have explained that to Trump (and the World) while thanking Trump for asking him.

He knows better. And he knew better then.

It's been in the works for over a year. The timing was appropriate.

The Senate is stronger now than it was for Trump. He helped these folks retain their position, and gained from friends over the Kavanaugh debacle who were against him or on the fence. He will neutralize the House, and vaccinate himself against their lameass emotions.

The gloves are about to come off for 2020. He just confronted the LameStream media.
