As you might be aware, phrasing matters.
"Party" is a euphemism for something else, especially among a subset of ladies in our hobby. If you had said "meet and greet" or "social" it would have been much more clear.
And, as you might know, or guess from the forums guidelines, something happened in the past, so discussion about social events is a bit restricted:
