There are times, where I think about what is probably being posted & rumoured or spread around in the boys only club/forum. Just because what we see being said & how things are being said out in the open is so horrible & hateful so many times -but then I remember that I can be a tad sensitive & quick tempered, so it's prob something that honestly better for my neurosis not to see. Lol! Ignorance is bliss in that case I suppose, you know. It would serve no purpose for me to dwell or fixate on something that I can't change or would only do harm/upset for me to read. But SknyDiva -yeah, I can only imagine what some of these guys can spew. Ruins it for some of the real gentleman. But oh well, thats why Im only occasionally active in the Powder room even then. Sorry, that you read some shitty stuff, obviously, girl!

When I see something I don't agree with, I close that posting and don't come back.
If I see someone who always posts things I don't want to see, I block them. Then I don't have that worry again.
For the most part, if I sleep or rest a few hours, the things I don't like stop bothering me.
I learned a long time ago to not react quickly when something I don't like happens.

interesting. i've heard references to it by users and mod's from time to time. IKE made reference to it recently in the Political Forum as an alternative. that was when the rules were in flux you could say then DeD came in and posted "have at it" where the site opted not to remove the looser posting rules at the time. now that's changed obviously. Are you still in this spiderhole private forum? i take it not? did you lose interest or was the discussion a turn off? with the new emphasis site wide on keeping discussions less abrasive does that apply to private forums too? beyond the so-called nuclear topics obviously. those won't be tolerated anywhere on the site.

Captain Midnight has a private forum for discussion about investing and the stock market and economy. he started it mainly due to the old wild wild west ways in the Political forum. several people who post regularly or did at one time in the Political forum are members. some who weren't on friendly terms there too lol. of course Captain Midnight made it clear he didn't want that type of atmosphere. He has banned people from there too. He's actually listed as a Moderator along with DeD and two other mod's. he can make threads a sticky but i don't know if he can ban someone or has to get the real Mod's to do so. Regardless if he wants someone gone from there it's his say no matter who actually does it.

wasn't my cup of tea when I looked at it. i'm not subscribed to it, so its not on my list. like I said, I don't remember what it was about.
