Default fascism at its most obvious

from google:
An average aluminium can (without its contents, of course) weighed 16.55 grams in 1992. By 2001 the aluminium can weighed about 14.9 grams. Aluminium beverage cans come in different shapes and sizes. The standard volume is 375 ml.

Toronto craft breweries feeling the crunch as tariffs hit aluminum beer cans

https://money.cnn.com/2018/07/27/new...ffs/index.html

Coke is raising soda prices because of aluminum tariffs

One gets about 30 aluminum cans per pound of aluminum, so a can cost about 2.2 cents/can. 20% of 2.2cents is .44 cents. The price of alumimum has varied by 40% in the last 5 years.

If a microbrewery economics are based upon a variable cost change of 0.22 cents(canada'tariff is 10%), they ought not be in business.

CNN's headline is an outright lie.

As I noted, evidence of fascism at its most obvious, and it is replicated every day by the leftwing fascist bigotted thugs.

There isn't anything fascist about tariffs. What is fascist medi assigning blame for Coke raising its prices to a minor tarriff on aluminum.

Tariffs, in general, are stupid.

If tarrifs are fascist, what about flat out restrictions on what can be sold to/in one country or another?

Just a reminder, before the 16th Amendment, except for the American Civil War, the U.S. government was primarily funded by tariffs. Tariffs pre-exist Marxism, Communism, Fascism and Capitalism. Carry-on.

that depends on what mercantilist policies are in place. they do place restrictive tariffs on certain goods, this to protect their markets from cheaper goods.

U.S. shamelessly did this to the British Empire when they first started their free trade program in the mid-1800 and later.

not stupid. if done right, it protects the market. excessive tariffs is a bad thing.

this is why we lost the ability to manufacture TVs because we didn't protect the TV market from the cheap asian imports.
