That's if they do it legally. How many news stories have we seen about state X, registering illegals to vote AND SOME OF THEM ACTUALLY voting?? Too many for my liking.

In order to vote in the U.S. you must meet one of the following criteria:

So it takes a rather long time for those entering the U.S. legally to gain citizenship and be able to vote. And I don't think we can deny the right to vote to certain citizens.

Those rules seem OK but I would increase the length of time to acquire citizenship to 25 years continuous non criminal residency and a minimum of $50,000 USD income taxes paid.

There is no way to prove one way or the other how many votes were cast in 2016 by illegals. Trump says 3 million and he says he would have won the popular vote had the illegals not been able to vote.

I do agree with you in that any illegals voting is bad. Any non-citizens voting in federal elections is also against the law.

There is no proof that voting irregularities happened to any major extent. I read through the 4 articles you cited. The last one is by Alex Jones, a renowned conspiracy theorist who stated Sandy Hook was a conspiracy.

The first article uses the study by Harvard University to back up their claim that illegals voted in mass in 2016. The 2nd article I cited happened to debunk the Harvard study. So it depends on which article you choose to believe.

Yes, voting by illegals should be stopped, whether it is a major or even minor occurrence. But it is up to those who support the hypothesis that it is a major problem to prove it rather than simply say based on the number of illegals in this country and assuming x % are voting that 3 million illegal votes were cast. Pure conjecture.
