References and PMs

Just a couple of things I'd like to get off my rather hairy chest.

First: What is the deal with women who will not provide references? Shouldn't "full service" include answering general inquiries from your coworkers about the people who have spent time with you? By withholding information you do neither your client nor fellow providers any favors.

My second gripe: Why don't people read their PMs? At least three times I've sent PMs to different women and tracked them only to watch them go "unread". What is the point of requesting PMs if you aren't going to bother to read them? I'm not talking about overlooking them for a few days because you're busy, these things were never read at all. So long as a message is not offensive, common courtesy dictates that it deserves a response of some kind, even if it is simply "Sorry, not interested." Ignoring polite inquiries is rude and no way to deal with people.

Anyone with similar issues?

Not providing references, means lost business....To most.
TCB tends to be at its peak, the last week of the month.

Not true for all, but most!

Always have a plan B or C in place....for these unfortunate situations

They are hookers.
Think about that for a minute.

Not like they worked as an executive assistant to get this job.
If any of them can open up work or excel I would be surprised.

The minute they need rent they will answer you back and claim their mother had cancer or belittle you about why you are stalking them over two messages sent.

How do you know your PM is "unread"? Maybe the "read receipt" was ignored even though the message was read. You don't have to acknowledge the read receipt before reading the message.

2nd always check HOW a lady wants to be contacted

I at one time had a respectable professional woman as a boss that also was a SLUT for sure. It was a big blue place, and getting reviewed for higher pay grade. As we talked in her office, her feet on desk, dress on with no pa...

crap, its not ok for getting credit on a 1990 something encounter is it.

Thanks for all the feedback. I find it interesting that not a single woman has chosen to weigh in on this thread...or maybe they never even looked at it.

I neglected to mention that there are many providers who do provide references and respond promptly to PMs. For those things, among many others, you ladies are greatly appreciated.

I used to see Hannah quite a bit back in the day. Used her fro a reference with another girl. Turns out they hated each other...and Hannah flipped out on me. It was after she had moved to Ontario. Says i gave too much info because I said where she lived...Ontario. I guess I should have asked her first before using her as a reference. Live and learn
