P411 changes

P411 announced as of 1.1.19 it will no longer be an advertising site for ladies. Just a verification service. Ladies how many of you will value a guy being on p411 if you aren't able to advertise there?

Yes. Provider profiles will be found by following a link to her P411 profile from her outside advertising/reviews, or by entering her email address or p#.

I understand why some sites have to change with the new US laws, but I thought P411 and their employees are not in the US. So why does P411 have to change? What about FOSTA am I missing here? Is Canadian gov't also pressuring their internet sites as well?

There are many reasons behind the change, some personal. FOSTA is a catalyst, but not the reason.

You do business here, you are subject to laws here.

Doesn't matter how the service might have presented it in the past, clients and providers assumed that there was less liability because of the offshore aspect.. There was not. The hobby and services like this flourished on the internet because the powers that be weren't motivated to fuck with it, not because they couldn't.

That just changed- all of the chaos that's happening is exactly what could have always happened if the government quit fucking around- they just did.
