Yes the closer the better, but it can go up to 7 yards. Its designed for close up shooting indeed. But the fact it fits like a phone makes it a good concealed piece. For more distance and power my Beretta PX4 Storm. Can still conceal it, but its bulkier. But my ATFs are my shotguns and ARs

Yep, just talk to any good gun smith about working on the S&W autos.
Revolvers are good, autos are not so much and that is why they are cheap.

It's not the Shield, it's the SD40VE (.40 cal) and SD9VE (9mm) that's on sale for $299.99.

.40 cal.

I paid 299 for a series 1 shield. If you go to the store, they are clearance priced at 299.

If we’re long range .257 wby mag or my 300. Multiples I’m breaking out the Noveske or my modded SKS. I wasn’t passing up the deal or my old lady giving me the ok. Not a common thing. Happy Birthday to me.

I carry a Sig P238 and love it. Looking to upgrade to a HK VP9SK soon though.

Stopping power is in your aim not your caliber.
