Everything has its cycle. I'm just now getting back into the hobby after a couple of longer-than-normal arrangements. Even prior to that time, I left this site for a FB group; a small circle of friends that doesn't appear to exist any longer or, if it does, none of my old friends are there. Perhaps we'll meet in the near future.

(e) There are girls who act like they are excited to see me and make communication fun and playful.
(f) There are girls who act like they couldn't care less whether we have an appointment or not.
(g) There are girls who give there best effort on the first meeting and are consistent or keep getting better the more times I see them.
(h) There are girls who are good the first time and then give less effort the better I get to know them.
(i) There are girls who make me feel good being with them.
(j) There are girls who I can't wait to bust a nut and leave.

The girls who are more (a) (c) (e) (g) (i) get more of my time and $. The girls who are more (b) (d) (f) (h) and (j) get less or none of my time and $. It's that simple.

Many people prefer to give no review than give a bad review. With great girls, people can't wait to give a great review and the review keep racking up as more people get excited about seeing them.

Bad late to the party on this one, but I concur with Blad, BH & Shag. I've been away due to an illness I'll never shake (NOTE: it is NOT contagious nor can you "catch it" from me. ) , but have kind of kept a finger on the pulse of the Hobby. I'll check in when I can, but not as often as I once did. I have had a few Ladies in the Birmingham, surrounding areas, and Southeast that I was able to frequent and enjoyed the time spent.

Sadly, I became part of "the past" as many friends and Ladies retired or moved on. Now, even though I've been hobbying since the 90's, I'm a newbie without a reference newer than 180 days.

My take on rates are commensurate with the companionship. If I read a review where the rates are equal to the services and I like what I see on the menu, I just may ask for a reservation. If the menu isn't appealing, I may just go to the next restaurant, per se'.

Also, one of the things I look at, from only my perspective are how the Lady conducts herself on the various sites. I'm too damn old to be involved in drama and won't take part in it. Been there, got a T-shirt & mailed a post card.

Is there a way to find providers on this website by city and state and not just state? I am visiting in Birmingham and its quite a pain in the proverbial ass trying to determine which providers are actually local to the area. I'm not sure to what extent that may or may not be a factor, but it certainly can't be helping anything.

I spoke with a provider earlier today who I have seen here before and who used to be a regular visitor to the area. She said that she has quit coming to Birmingham because the business has dried up and she can't make the money here that she can elsewhere. It would seem like you are not alone, YBEG.

Lastly, and again speaking as a newbie, its the roll of the dice that would keep me from seeing more providers. We all like what we like and the reviews, while helpful to a limited degree, don't always give a prospective client a full understanding of what's in a provider's wheelhouse. The showcases seem to offer even less information, so not being able to confirm in advance that you will be able to indulge in your preferred activities makes shelling out 200, 300, 400 quite a gamble for those of us on this end of the equation.

Please, if I am missing something then feel free to educate me. I would love to find out that the information I want to find is actually already out there somewhere. If so, then perhaps I can help put Birmingham back on the map! LOL

The easiest ways are just look through the ads and weekend lineup and search Birmingham under forum search, not provider search, and limit the search to the review forums in Alabama. It's a bit of scrolling but you'll get there eventually.

Or PM someone whose been around a while. I haven't seen a lot of the providers on here. I spent way too much time and money on back page. But I'm willing to help
