I suppose technically when I send in a buy order I really don't get a piece of paper showing I have x-shares of stock, i.e. a "Certificate of Stock" ... so in that sense you are correct.

Which is the same sense that Obaminable NEVER produced his "Birth Certificate" ... he was only able to produce a "Certificate of Birth," which is a different document.

True. If you take the total population of the U.S. today (approx. 330 million men, women and children) then that statement is prolly accurate.

But....BUT., more to my point...more people (taxpayers) are "actively involved in the market" than ever before in history; with people investing / contributing into their Individual Retirement Accounts....401K's...SEP's, etc. I believe approximately 54 million taxpayers currently have some sort of retirement plan that is tied into the market (ie: stocks, mutual funds, commodities, etc).

Now...if you're talking about 90% over the actual valuation of the entire market being owned by only 10% people (and/or corporations)....that's a topic I have no data on to either back up or refute your claim. After some research I may have more on that and then we'll talk.

As for the hatchetmen/women in the FBI, two philosophies are highly relevant these days: "karma's a bitch" and "living by the sword"!

Once the rank and file recognize that it's a free fire zone and there will be no reprisal for their testimony against the higher ups the gloves will come off! There are a shit load of professional and ethical agents who don't like what's happening.
