Nubian: You're gonna believe what you're going to believe. It was a bar in upper Kirby area. Not exactly sure why it matters, but think I've given out plenty of information. If I don't "hobby" in a conventional way then I'll take the heat. I had what I thought was good-faith agreement with the provider. I've acknowledged she was well-reviewed. I've stated she seemed like a down-to-earth woman. That said, she left early after I made a donation. There's not a lot more to say.

Credibility matters..if you say you met at place A,she says it was place B..someone is lying

If she stays at the bar for 1hr and you paid for 1hr...your time is up

In corner A, we have a 2+ year established provider with tons of 'yes' reviews.

In corner B, we have a newb who just signed up a few days ago.

OP, you said you met with her twice prior, but then said you hadn't met with her before now. So, which is it?

Based on your limited info and not hearing anything from her, to me it sounds like she agreed to a meet and greet prior to session, in lieu of you providing any further info for screening.

You had some drinks together, already offered her compensation, then she left as there was obviously something that happened - something you did, something you said - that made her uncomfortable.

Imo, if you weren't comfortable with this possibility, you should not have offered compensation until something further took place.

You have to understand that we have to look out for our own safety at ALL times, and I will be the first to admit that I have canceled a session at the last minute because something about the gent threw me off or didn't gel well for me. They were probably frustrated with me too, but hey; I will always look out for myself first and foremost. It sounds to me like she was doing the same.

Secondly, I personally do not agree with meet and greets. I know lots of providers do them, and I am not knocking anyone's preference or on how they conduct their business; but for me, they are just too risky, for a myriad of reasons.

If you want to get involved in the hobby and get yourself set up with references, I would suggest to you to get comfortable with the idea of sharing some personal info in order to secure your first few sessions. After that, you will have an established presence and references. I would also suggest you get set up on P411.

nope, she left with his cash. not the way to end a meet-n-greet when the gal decides "this aint gonna work." this is one of the oldest scams in the hobby. happened to me several times when i was first starting out in the hobby.
