This claim is literally unknowable, thus silly.

Silly jests can be funny.

Serious claims that are, in fact, silly -- less so.

The concept of "cultural appropriation" being bad is absurd, and fundamentally racist at its heart.

Every era has had a "melting pot", where the best ideas are agglomerated into a highly evolutionary, almost always, improved, society. The USA is this era's melting pot. This concept is, and always has been, a benefit to the societies in which it has occurred. Our material wealth is linked to the fact that every problem has had multiple cultural approaches for solutions to it.

Automobiles were developed by white people(Henry Ford was a racist) for white people. The concept of cultural appropriation, applied uniformly, would leave you to believe that black people shouldn't drive automobiles, since they were developed by white culture. That is absurd.

"Cultural Appropriation" is a means by which left wing fascist racebaiting bigots rationalize extracting money, power, and privilege from working folks, using the plunder to purchase control of society. No more. No less.

Lol. This is shit white people say when they want something someone else has ('someone' being another race or culture). I'm pretty sure black people couldn't own cars for decades after they were invented. Why? Because, for one, they weren't privileged enough to have the money to get one. Two, who would teach them to drive anyway? When they finally did learn to drive, it was for chauffeur type purposes. But they still couldn't own shit.

Sure, over the years black people have been "cultured" along by white people, but it's been a slow, agonizing, drawn out process.

You think things were just hunky dory when slavery ended? Fuck no. Born soon after was a 'hooded' resistance force, who made sure that any culture mixing would be hard and painful.

Some of you have gotten really good at picking and choosing your words to justify anything. This in itself has become the culture of America...your America in particular.

What does the concept of "Cultural Appropriation" being bad have to do with the end of slavery, and the imposition of Jim Crow laws(Instigated by by President Andrew Johnson)? Are you saying cultures in the USA should not assimilate?

By the way, Johnson was a Democrat, and lionized by Bill Clinton(the first "Black President") when defending himself for lying to a court and obstructing justice. To be honest, it is sometimes unbelievable that minorities adsorb the shit being proffered by the Democrats.

By the way, you got nothing I want except for my family left in peace so my they can prosper from the sweat of their own brow. The USA is a special place. Fuck it up, and the whole world will regret it.

Hip Hop was created by less privileged groups/minorities at the end of the disco era. Every minority was not a part of hip hop culture and is not today. Also, Hip Hop is not rap but rap is an element of hip hop. Culture is simply the beliefs, ideas, traditions, speech, and material objects associated with a particular group of people. Appropriation is the illegal, unfair, or unjust taking of something that doesn't belong to you. Often, used to strip the identity of another culture. Therefore, the escorts on this site who use the acronym p.a.w.g. are attempting to appropriate culture while unfairly discriminating against the same culture they appropriate with the NBA rule. Any thoughts?

What does Michelle Obama have to do with the use of the word pawg in reference to cultural appropriation? Absolutely nothing.... rhetorical question
