Totally different from the Middle East where there is a major difference of opinion on what is in the best interest of everyone.

BTW. I would be willing to bet that had Obama done what Trump just did concerning Jerusalem, the opinions of many would be 180 degrees different and the same people who are praising Trump for his actions would be condemning Obama.
Reality is reality. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. That’s a fact, that’s reality. And Obama didn’t do as he promised. Neither did Bush or Clinton. That’s a failure of leadership. Just as Obama failed to back up his own red line with Assad. But Trump cleaned that up to in short order, and then had dessert with President XI. That’s leadership. Leaders have to deliver on their words. They can’t lie or ignore what they say. People respect a leader that does what he says. I bring up NoKo because past administrations did nothing to stop them. The situation got worse. That’s a fact. That’s reality. Trump has delivered on his promise concerning Jerusalem. It’s US law. Those are facts. It’s reality. You can Prattle on with worthless babble.

He got nothing for giving Israel this....

Do you realize how stupid that was?

He got a bunch of his dumbass supporters back here in the States to post on a whore board about how great Trump is for doing this which just exposes their ignorance on the matter!

Ok, explain in detail just what the repercussions will be for this decision to move the U.S. Embassy and recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel?

Who knows the future Mr. Mojo.

What I do know is that Trump just gave Israel something without getting anything in return. That imho is stupid as fuck. He is already sucking the Israeli PM's dick, no need to lick his ass for free.

How many countries have their embassy there? None you say....and why is that?

What next Alaska back to Russia and get nothing in return?

Trump is our Napoleon while Benjamin Netanyahu is Israel's Jefferson.

The Kingdom of France controlled the Louisiana territory from 1699 until it was ceded to Spain in 1762. In 1800, Napoleon, then the First Consul of the French Republic, hoping to re-establish an empire in North America, regained ownership of Louisiana. However, France's failure to put down the revolt in Saint-Domingue, coupled with the prospect of renewed warfare with the United Kingdom, prompted Napoleon to sell Louisiana to the United States. The Americans originally sought to purchase only the port city of New Orleans and its adjacent coastal lands, but quickly accepted the bargain. The Louisiana Purchase occurred during the term of the third President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson. Before the purchase was finalized, the decision faced Federalist Party opposition; they argued that it was unconstitutional to acquire any territory. Jefferson agreed that the U.S. Constitution did not contain explicit provisions for acquiring territory, but he asserted that his constitutional power to negotiate treaties was sufficient. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_Purchase

He gave Israel nothing, it is the law passed by a bi partisan 104th Congress in 1995, he is just enforcing the law unlike a the previous do nothing Presidents, Yup and that includes Republicans. Go ahead say how bad that is for peace, I say WHAT EFFING PEACE, hasn't been peace in that region since Mohammad founded Islam in 610 AD.

and you think Trump is going to broker peace in the ME

Look, nobody even cares about that little patch of land. Fucking Syria , turkey and a chit load of other hot spots are more pressing than those two combatants.

But it is a start if you realize that there will never be peace in that region until the oil runs out and even then there will be no peace but nobody , including Russia , China or us will give a fuck.

I remember when Obama traded 5 Taliban leader terrorist from GITMO for a deserter. Another time Obama sent more than $4 billion in cash to Baghdad on giant pallets aboard military planes.

I have no problem with Trump getting done what the other presidents promised to do.

Well since you don't know what repercussions may ensue. Everything else you state is just based on your opinion, not facts or past observations. Trump just went where no president has gone before. It's a good possibility that Trump's decision could send a clear message to Palestinians to make an extra effort to live in harmony with the Israelis. Then again maybe a significant number of Palestinians will head for Jordan that's their real home anyway.

You and I both know, "the repercussions" won't change any, just the same old crusade that has been going on since the beginning of Islam 570-610 AD. But this is what the Occidents aka Western world Europe and North America want to call "peace talks". Well Trump just upped the ante on those peace talks. What a guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
