If this issue were assessed using logic instead of centuries old stereotypes and dogma, the answer to this question would illuminate everything: "Why should it be illegal to sell something that is perfectly legal to give away?"

I've LONG felt it should be legal.. Coming with it being legal is safety BOTH For the gals providing and the johns soliciting.

Now, reading through the comments on that page, i saw one that really made me go HMM.. WTF IS wrong with this picture..

Oregon sets the age of consent for medical procedures at 15. That means a 15 year-old with a penis can hire someone to surgically remove it as part of gender reassignment surgery, and the state will pay for the procedure. Personally, I think we should raise the age of consent for gender reassignment surgery to 18. However, anyone who thinks that it should be legal for a 15 year-old to pay someone to surgically remove her penis will have trouble convincing me that a 15 year-old does not have the right to pay someone to suck his penis.

So its LEGAL for a 15 yr old to get a sex change OP, but not for that same 15 yr old to HAVE SEX...??!

sex work should be legal for obvious reasons.

1. protects the women
2. protects the johns
3. affair remains secret
4. ensures that the money earned goes to the women, not the pimps.
5. due process for both parties when one of the parties get stiffed.

one of the problems of this so-called gotcha raids is that they are humiliating events and destroys marriages of arrested Johns.

sex trafficking (sex slavery by another name) need to be addressed properly and fairly.

No I don't think the gov should be taxing everything , and giving the free money to illegals and lazy people ( the issue with the libertarts)
