So on one hand you cry about double taxation and on the other hand you want it.....Hmmmmm.

Should states that subsidize the education in their states for their citizens with higher state taxes require that their citizens work in their states?

As they should. The problem is they are not paying enough or else we would not have all this debt.

We need to cut spending, raise taxes or a combination of the two.

Without raising taxes, we need to cut government spending. We have choices, do we cut Social Spending? Or Defense Spending? Should be cut SS benefits to Dear John in his retirement years because his deficit spending ways that did not pay for all the Military Spending he and others wanted but did not want to pay for?

That is the road we are headed down.

One I actually welcome. One where all you fools who think there is some free lunch where you can wage wars all over the world and put it on your credit card and not expect that debt to bite you in the ass in your retirement years. There is this whole selfish generation spurned on by trickle down of the eighties where the chicken will come home to roost!

You're a fucking idiot. I don't know why I even bother responding to your bullshit. I never said anything even remotely suggesting that I "want" or favor double taxation. Once again, you try to put words in another poster's mouth that you plucked out of left field.

Then you go off on some fucking incoherent tangent that shows you don't understand the meaning of the term "subsidize".

I would say "think before you post" - but you ignore this admonition every time I make it. You refuse to give careful thought to your posts and you don't give a tinker's damn how stupid your comments make you look.

YOU. ARE. A. FUCKING. MORONIC. BUFFOON.

IMO yes. IF state (or country X) Pays you for your education, you should be required to WORK For said state to pay that education back.

Not paying enough? When 10% of the people ALREADY Suffer 70% of the tax burden, how the HELL IS THAT not paying enough??

SO let me guess. You favor gutting defense spending, ONE OF THE FEW THINGS EXPRESSLY CALLED OUT for in the Constitution in relation to taxes, BUT DISFAVOR gutting welfare entitlements, SOMETHING NOT CALLED OUT for in the constitution.??!

Listen you idiot... "double taxation" means the same income is taxed more than once by the same government entity. Paying tax on the same income at both the federal and state levels is not double taxation - it's being taxed once by two different entities.

Letting people deduct their state and local taxes from the amount of their income subject to federal tax has nothing to do with double taxation. It just makes it easier (less painful to taxpayers) for state and local governments to keep raising taxes, since residents don't feel the full brunt of the increases.

Repealing the deduction means residents of states like New York and California will now be exposed to the full brunt of the taxes that are continuously shoved down their throats by their recklessly free-spending libtard politicians. This will make it harder politically for those free-spending libtards to keep jacking up taxes, since the federal government will no longer be subsidizing them. That's a good thing!

The problem with inheritance taxes is that the income used to build an estate was already taxed multiple times by the same greedy government entities that want to confiscate yet more of it at death. That's the definition of double taxation. If an estate contains unrealized (and therefore untaxed) capital gains, then the heirs should not receive a step-up in basis. Let any gains be subject to tax when realized.

Do you understand what I just wrote, you ignorant simple-minded moronic buffoon? You're the fucking hypocrite. You want to whack the rich at death, yet you whine about taking away their tax deductions while they're still alive.

20 TRILLION DOLLAR debt.

Means we are not paying enough.

No where in the Constitution does it call out to pay for the safety of the world.

Next , those so called welfare entitlements are paid for from a Tax that is not in the red. It will be in the near future but it has not added a dime to our debt.

I'm for doing one of two things ....Paying for the Defense Spending of this country just like we do SS and Medicare ( Which means raising taxes) or if we are not going to pay for our Defense Spending, then cut Defense spending.

Not Rocket Science.

All this does is show how little you know about taxes and Government Funding.

In fact if you want to cut your future SS benefits and Medicare benefits that you have paid in to pay for the Defense spending that you have not paid for, that would be Poetic Justice for your dumbass.
