I think the mother did her daughter an injustice for not bringing this incident to the attention of the authorities at the time it happened. Now thirty eight years later the victim is fifty two years old and she feels she needs to pursue justice after all this time has passed and because the perpetrator has entered politics. I say too late, too bad, so sad.

He has been in politics and the public eye for a VERY long time. This is the first time he has run a senate race with a double digit lead.

What a awesome political weapon. Find a "accuser" and line out their story. Wait until a few weeks before the election then go public with it to give yourself a big advantage on election day, no need or time for evidence. I think you may see even more of this in the future. How can one defend themselves from this "atomic bomb" in the few short weeks before a election? The democrats know their propaganda arm in the media will run with it. Yea, I read that also,They have a 70 day rule that locks in the ballets. Drop the bomb and if he leaves the race it's a automatic dem win for the senate.
