Perhaps if you researched the local showcases and then communicated with who you like with a PM you might be able to get the ball moving. Doesn’t hurt to ask. Don’t limit yourself to this area. There are a lot more newbie friendly providers in places like Austin. Good luck. Research is your friend.

Thanks for the advice. I have been browsing Austin for a while but honestly I dnt know the scene and between work and my personal life I would prefer to stay closer. But I might have to network and attempt a trip.
