The VA would be limited to wounded soldiers hurt in military duty.

You would not have people like JD who served in some position in the Navy less dangerous than a farmer or a fishermen who supply food to the military. Why are they less important than JD. Why do they not get educational benefits, loan benefits and medical benefits.

If you serve your country via the military for love of country, then why are you political and voting for politicians that are perceived to give you more shit?

Could you expand on what you feel true conservative values are, fiscally and socially, please?

1) Strong national defense, and this INCLUDES Proper border security and vetting any refugee/asylum seeker wishing to come here
2) Proper controls on immigrants coming in, including requiring them to provide PROOF they have a job waiting for them/Financially can support themselves or have a sponsor to do so
3) RULE OF LAW. Not just one law for us people, 1 for blacks and another for the rich/famous. BUT ONE WE are all held to..
4) PERSONAL Responsibility. TAKE CARE of yourself, don't expect/demand everyone else do so.
5) Pride in Excellence, not 'participation awards/reducing to the lowest common denominator.
6) Frugalness both personally AND IN OUR federal/state budget.

Over my 40+ years of living, i've seen FAR TOO many abusers, and little come back from the government to curtail it.. Hell when i lived in the UK back in the 70s to 1990, there was a # of instances where they did a "See fraud, report it" drive, to stop the British version of Welfare fraud.. MANY of my friends/family/neighbors DID report it, some did so multiple times on fraudsters. YET NOTHING EVER got done...
