the whole purpose of obamacare was for it to fail, make it so bad that make it easier for people accept or go to the british style single payer option.

Buying health insurance has always been a challenge for people getting their own policies outside the workplace. Before "Obamacare," insurers could turn away those with health problems or charge them more. Former President Barack Obama sold his plan as the long-awaited fix.
It would guarantee coverage regardless of health problems, provide tax credits and other subsidies for people of modest means, and generate competition among insurers to keep premiums in check for all. The overhaul sought to create one big insurance pool for individual coverage in each state, no matter whether consumers bought plans through HealthCare.gov or traditional middlemen such as insurance brokers.
But an influx of sicker-than-expected customers drove up costs for insurers, while many younger, healthier people stayed on the sidelines. Political opposition from Republicans complicated matters by gumming up the law's internal financial stabilizers for insurers.

If they wanted the ACA to fail, they would not have taken the issue with the individual mandate to the Supreme Court. They knew that if the risk pools were/are not balanced the health insurance companies would drop out the individual market ( stop selling health insurance at HealthCare.gov). Which is exactly what United Health Care did in 2015. They got out of just about every state that they were selling in the year 2014.

so, it would have failed if the individual mandate wasn't taken to court?

... that's why Gruber was laughing his ass off at them!

They just babble aimlessly about the failed program ... actually believing the bullshit upon which it was based ... and meandering through some talking points thinking the more they say it the more likely it will be believed.

Their fuck up is now the Republican's fault, not their own. Next thing they'll be blaming the Russians!! ... and demand another investigation into the ObminableCare-Russian Collusion!!!

No way for balanced risk pools to be achieved without the individual mandate being passed. People who are already sick (i.e. people with failing lungs, kidneys, hart, high blood sugar) can't be denied the chance to purchase health insurance. These people are going to buy no matter what, the cost of their insurance is less that the cost of their disease. A 28 year old who is healthy is not thinking about health insurance, that person will elect to get the exemption or pay the fine.
This is why United Health Care dropped out of most of the states they were doing business in the year 2014. The same thing for Aetna which is only doing business in about 7 states on the government exchanges.

So now under Obamacare even more people have unaffordable premiums even though they have always been in good health. In typical Liberal fashion they are "sharing" the misery of unaffordable health insurance with the middle class. Mine was pretty stable for years @ $350 a month $2K deductible, now under Obamacare it is $1,250 a month with a $7K deductible.

A bit of history. Reagan signed into law The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act which put the costs on local Hospitals. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_Medical_Treatment_an d_Active_Labor_Act It was the original Obamacare. We have been running up huge debt trying to pay for this. Obama attempted to find a more efficient way. Unfortunately Congress did not work together to come up with something like France or Germany has.

Insurance for many has been cheaper than the market because of government subsidies , if your employer was probably giving insurance with you not paying tax on that income. That is a government subsidy.

There are so many loopholes....but think of insurance like say Flood Insurance. No private company want to write that policy so the government is in the business of Flood Insurance. It costs no where near market price because the rest of the country subsides the cost. Those houses along the coast are paying little of the true costs a subsidy for the rich/middle class (poor people do not own beach front property). In health insurance....Obama shifted the subsidy from the middle class to the poor. If it went back to how it was, we still would have a huge healthcare problem....as in who pays for the poors health coverage? Do you repeal Reagan law as well?

Most of our current events are being deceitfully recorded....how much of our history has been misrecorded and is comprised of lies?
The same people manipulating our media, banks, entertainment, politics and education systems are manipulating history to suit themselves. Hitler was right!
