I would love to see a survey split along 2 dimensions:
- guys vs. girls
- younger (18-29), versus older(30-60+)

My initial guess; young girls think it's so awesome and adorable, and even older girls think it's 'cute.

Younger guys think it's 'ok', and older guys think it's fucking retarded.
- Almost no guys thinks it looks 'better' than a standard well-shot pic....

I'm surprised that providers don't realize that their market isn't young girls...

If the sex workers who use hockey Snapchat filters where down to their last pack of dollar store Ramen noodles and surmised that it was the filters why they were getting NO bookings, they'd definitely market themselves differently.

Since there's a whole thread complaining about the continued use of Snapchat filters, all those sex workers are probably doing just fine.

I highly doubt that there is some correlation to the length of this thread and the success of providers. That doesn't even make sense.

That statement is essentially saying 'Since girls with Snapchat filters are still booking appointments, it must be a good idea.'

In that case, these are all also excellent ideas:

- posting pictures with dirty, black feet pointed at the camera
- posting pictures with paraphenelia in the background
- posting pictures in bathrooms with filthy, disgusting toilets obviously unflushed
- posting pictures with pimp/baby daddy reflected in the mirror
- ...endless other permutations.

Some hobbyists would say that these are NOT attractive, but yet,providers continue to do them and still manage to book appointments.

However - the key point is that it's doubtful that this increases their business, and may actively harm their business.

1) If it's generational - then who are the majority of the clients...under 30, or >30? Who has more disposable income, reasons for hunting pussy on the side?

2) If it adds to the fantasy/sexy - then where's all the porn, lingerie shoots, fantasy materials, where guys get to see girl with antenna, dog ears and cat whiskers?

Maybe during the Furry Convention...but in general, I doubt it.

So - my belief; it probably hurts business, and yet girls will continue to do it. That does NOT prove that it's not stupid.
