He almost became a hero to Republicans if he would have done the right thing and pushed for the conviction of Hillary Clinton. Since he didn't he is now trash.

It's not going to happen. Trump is controversial because of his wealth for one, but he talks dirty behind closed doors, he's a racist, against illegal immigration and he talks to Russians. In a nutshell that's all anyone has on him. Being an asshole won't get you impeached and it's not against the law. Presidents before him have proven that. Politicians are basically scumbags and only in the game for the money and they really aren't all that smart.

Don't judge everyone by the Clintons and Obaminables.
As for Trump, I suspect that a lot of the folks begging for a visit into the inner sanctum of Trump Tower were pissing, moaning, and trash-talking about Trump when the excavation began .... not to mention talking shit about how "stupid" he is. Just like "they" did when he announced for HIS CAMPAIGN FOR POTUS.

No. I was answering the question, which was general in nature.
The motivation of the "demented liberals" in response to Trump's victory is the same as ISIS. Get rid of the opposition, who will not capitulate and join with the demented ones to "overthrow" Trump and oust him from the White House.
The behavior of the anti-Trumpers tracks that of the spiral of domestic violence as each turn escalates to another level until violence is the standard response to gain control. The "true colors" of the liberal/anti-trumpers is being revealed on a daily basis ... and it's obvious they don't give a shit about this country, because they are willing to destroy this country since they didn't get "their way"!

The FBI director doesn't "push" for a conviction. His agency packages up the reports outlining their evidence (both incriminating and exculpatory), covers the package with a transmittal letter (referencing statutes involved), and submits the package through appropriate channels to the AG as the head of the DOJ.
He was wrong for making a public announcement last Summer and he was wrong to make a public announcement in the Fall. Either one should have gotten him fired.

I am not judging anything based solely on the Clintons and Obama. I am critical of all political people. I question the true value of everything they do including Trump.
