Default So excited - house shopping 😍

Who else loves looking at houses?! I think I should try to get into reality because I just love exploring new houses!
I'm headed to Little Rock now to look at two or three houses I've been looking at for the last week or so.
Don't worry NWA, I've got some places lined up there to look at too this weekend. The prebooking is tied at 4-4 right now, but NWA still has a bit of time. I had quite a few last minute appointments in LR too, and I met some amazing clients there.

I'm extremely excited because the place I live in now is awful, but it's affordable. The places I'm going to look at are affordable but look amazing from the photos 😍

Then I think I'll go watch the travelers play to end my night!

I do nothing but look for houses to rent here lately. I do love Interior Design and as some of you know that is one of my other business ventures. I have a great budget for a house but either it's exactly what I want but not in the area I want or it's in the area I want but not what I need as far as square footage and br and baths. It's getting agravating. But I know eventually the perfect place will come available.
I have always thought being a Realtor would be fun. My dad was a real estate developer. Always wanted me to take over but well I went in a different direction. I think with your personality you would be great.
As far as a place for me , if any of you fellas know if any nice houses in NLR or Sherwood please let me know. I'll be ready to move August 1

I've restored a lot of older houses, and I love doing open houses on Sundays! I look at how I would flip them of course, but I also look deep at the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc., to see what repairs need to be done. I love to keep the character of the time the house was built, but bring the support systems up to date.

I would LOVE to restore a late 18th century house with current technology, but the only ones for sale are in areas where the crime is still higher than I feel safe in.

Omerta I believe we have discussed this. It is my dream to redo an old home. I was on the redevelopment commission in Mobile years ago....... I loved it. We would receive grants to restore historical buildings. My dream was to live on Government street with the moss hanging on the oaks trees. Instead I'm in PB in an apartment. Time for a much needed change!!!! If developers like you would go and buy everything in the area and brought in some good people the crime rate would go down I believe. Someone needs to put together some investors for the sole purpose of redeveloping that area. Let me know if you see a rental I might be interested in . Ty

Casey, I sent you a message. I looked at family homes and fell in love with one in particular. It's an older home that's been redone with new appliances but still has older features. However my husband decided after I fell in love with the house that he doesn't want to move... so I'll be looking for a studio or one bedroom that's cheap so I can still move to LR for certain days of the week and still keep my family in El Dorado 🙄
But I'd be happy to send the contact info for some of the places I found depending on what you're looking for.

Little insight into my life.
From kindergarten-7th grade I wanted to be a doctor
From 7th grade-10th grade I wanted to be an interior and exterior designer
From 10th-1st semester of my senior year I decided I was going to the missions field.
In February my whole life got flipped... I turned 18 left home, got pregnant... and became an escort...
In February a few years ago I started med school...
Now that I'm graduating I'm ready to start on something else I love, so homes it is 😊

So Vannah if you're serious I really think I'm interested in following that dream as well, and looking into what it would take to get into real estate

Casey, I certainly remember that conversation! We got so hyper and enthusiastic about talking about housing dreams that we went way over time and almost forgot the other reasons we were together!

Casey and Tsar, thinking about rentals, if you want some suggestions on property managers to avoid in Central Arkansas, you're welcome to reach out to me. I know most of them through professional channels. All of them are great about taking the rent on time. Some are not so good about fixing things.

PM sent. You're in luck if you enjoy funny, old men. He's a real character!

The material is pretty dull, so a good sense of humor will help the 60 hours go by much quicker.
