One of the providers I had asked told me that I was scary and also weird ... but, yes, I am a little bit sensitive. Thank you for your criticism.
I think the real confusion I am experiencing with this waterpark thread is why a provider would find it more comfortable to meet a stranger for sex than for a few rides at an amusement park or some other "unconventional date?"
Is it this "friends boundary," or something like that? I think it's so weird that you can pay for sex but not for companionship here. It makes it seem so cold. What kind of weird sex would I be getting without that?

It may just be your approach. If a lady tells you she's not comfortable with something and you continue to push it she's not going to magically come around, she's going to be more uncomfortable and probably think you won't respect boundaries.
For me, the reason I wouldn't have a first meeting at a water park is the same reason I wouldn't have the first meeting be an overnight. I don't know if I'll like her enough to spend that much time with her, and I'd guess she worries about the same. Find someone you get along with first and then go for some longer outings.

Typically, I don't receive a response. So, it's not obvious what I'm doing wrong. Though, I agree that going to a waterpark is a stupid suggestion. What activity can be done in one or two hours that is more exciting than going to a restaurant?
It seems like a descent idea to meet first, before the "meeting."

I am being serious. I really want to try a "date."
We could "hit it off," as one might say.
I noticed I am using a lot of quotation marks in this thread.
This is not all "tongue and cheek."

Reading through this thread I totally understand both sides but I have to agree with Ivy. Yes a first meeting at a water park is an unconventional date in the escort world. It seems like the smarter way to meet but from a girls point of view you could end up spending hours with a guy that you don't click with at all. Just like overnights or longer engagements, you want to make sure the time will be enjoyable for everyone. I've met a lot of great guys that I could really hang out with but there are a handful that despite being very sweet we just don't click. I would never agree to an over night or long engagement with those men because it would be very awkward with a lot of dead air. A water park day would be an awesome date but I agree that it would be an all day thing (4-6 hours minimum). I think most girls would have no problem with a date like this with a repeat client. Your problem isn't what you're asking is too strange it's that your timing is wrong. Have a few regular sessions with a couple girls that interest you and find one that you really enjoy talking to and joking with then propose your next date be at a water park. Present the date and all it would entail then ask her to name her price. I've had many susseful dates to six flags, seaworld, the zoo and even trips to the beach but I would never consider something like that for a first meeting. Find a girl, meet her, then go from there. Hope this helps

That makes sense. However, the reason I chose something eccentric like a waterpark was to avoid the "dead water" or awkwardness that one might experience on a date. But, I guess, if six hours is the acceptable time to spend at a waterpark, that would not be easily avoided.
What are the kinds of things that might happen during an encounter with a guy you don't "click" with? What kind of things does he do that makes him not "click?" Are those guys significantly different from others?
It would suck to meet someone and they not like me. Especially, because it's my first time. I know I can't expect people to like me when I'm paying for their company, but it's ideal that they at least think I'm tolerable enough to go out with. Or, maybe, that's not "in the cards" for me.

Waterparks are a day full of smiles, sun and laughter. Who wouldn't want to have that fun with their hourly rate???

I guess I have to try not to talk or mention anything outside of "meeting." But, then, it doesn't seem as fun as it could be.
I guess waterparks are not under the umbrella term "meeting?"
Well, they should be. Maybe, providers are just lame and don't want to have fun.
Yea, I said it.

From what I gander, the reason the waterpark date is not typically welcome is because some guys are so awkward and unpleasant that communicating and engaging with them is painful.
I may or may not fall into that category of guy.
