Spending is the real issue, not tax cuts...
http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/marke...z&ocid=U221DHP
All of this provides more clarity that the real culprit here is government spending. We're being taxed more, period. And the reason is because the government can't stop spending our money. It's spending so much, that it plays games and deceptive tricks with popular programs like Medicare and Social Security to hide and prop up that spending. And yet, our debt keeps growing.

There's a massive multi-trillion dollar scandal going on nationwide that would make even Bernie Madoff blush. It's a conspiracy that involves government bureaucrats, politicians from both parties, and a big chunk of the public being left in the dark. It shatters a key liberal belief and a separate example of conservative dogma.

I can comment on Social Security. Perry is correct in that it is a Ponzi scheme. Assets held by SS by law are in the form of government debt. The only problem is that the government does not have the cash to repay SS when SS wants to cash in the government bonds.
It would be like me buying bonds from my SO. She then goes out and spends ALL the money. When I need money and go to her to cash in a bond she says, "sorry I spent it all".
The only difference is that when SS wants to cash in the bonds the government can create money or raise taxes.
Make no mistake Social Security is already broke. I think if the general public could wrap their arms around this issue not one politician whould keep their job.
If SS was held to the same standards as 401K Trustees it would be disbanded and the people involved would go to jail.

Wasn't it LBJ who decided to just toss SS into the bottomless pit of the "General Fund", so he would have more to spend on his "Great Society" Programs.
I'm 70. It would shock many of you how much I get a month.
But then, I paid in a shit load for years, and years.
Of course, it gets thrown into the same pile as my personal income tax. Since I "short form", I'm giving 39 % of it right back to the Government.
My attitude is, as long as the Government can print money, I"ll take it.

The reason why is because her little vile fiasco sells. Talk of Tax Cuts doesn't sell and ratings don't improve. Besides how long can anyone talk about tax cuts, not long. Kathy Griffin, they can talk about that for weeks. This country will improve only when we stop electing puppets into office.

I was trashing those poor old white men under 65 who voted for him. He had promised them jobs and cheaper and better insurance
I was trashing Trump not for cutting those benefits but for turning around and giving those savings to Rich white men in the forms of a tax cut
